What is the account PIN, and how do I set it?
Four digits that protect the changes affecting your whole account, and where to set them.
The account PIN is four digits that the account holder chooses. It protects the changes that affect the whole account, like the password and the household's profiles, from everyone else who signs in with the same email and password.
Set it
- Open Account Dashboard.
- Go to Security & Privacy, then Sign-in, then Account PIN.
- Choose Set PIN and enter four digits.
To change or remove it, go to the same place. Changing it asks for the current PIN first.
It is not the PIN for mature titles
The PIN for mature titles belongs to one household profile and is a parental control, set in Household, then Manage. The account PIN belongs to the whole account. Keep it to yourself: that is what it is for.
